Free Travel Tour to Properties in the South! - My Actifit Report Card: March 29, 2023

in actifit •  2 years ago

Woke up early on a Tuesday morning because there's a free property site tour to two provinces near the national capital region (NCR). By that I mean we would go south, outside of Metro Manila (a.k.a. NCR), within the provinces of the CALABARZON area.

Been a while since I went on any property tour so I was kinda excited. Hehe. Good thing I saw the announcement about this last week. At least I was able to join the online property discussion and then this tour.

Didn't actually do much but still I have enough steps to post using Actifit. 😅 I am unable to use it often so now I'll just share my day's activities.

First of course is my public commuting to the meeting place. From Quezon City in the northern part of NCR, I needed to go to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City. That's in the southern part of the metro. Haha.

This is the reason why I had to wake up early. It takes more than an hour to get to my destination. (That's all thanks to EDSA Carousel bus and the pandemic for the improved public commuting experience. Haha.)

Actually it took me almost two hours because of the Makati/BGC traffic. And some mistake happened because I didn't mentally take note of the meetup location. 😅

Traveling to BGC

I was able to leave home around 7:45 am. The coordinator said the tour vehicle would leave at exactly 9 am. Oh my. Of course if that was the case I really needed to be there fast. 😂

So I was half running and speed walking most of the time. From getting off the tricycle to riding jeepneys and buses, I was just half running to my destination. 😆 No way would I miss this trip. Time is precious you know. 😂

Anyway, 4 public vehicles later and I was in BGC. Unfortunately as mentioned I didn't take note of the meetup place before I even left the house. Geez. I ended up getting late because of that mistake.

Good thing I was not the only one who was running behind schedule. Haha. And the coordinators were accommodating enough to us who either got lost or made the wrong turn or something.

Finally we were able to leave before 9:30 am. Ah sigh of relief. Haha. We rode a van while another group was inside a mini bus.

I wasn't able to take much pictures of the trip because I was kinda sleeping most of the time. Haha. That's what happens when someone always sleeps late. 😆

Anyway the property developer is generous by providing free group site tours, meals and snacks to us brokers and agents. It was my first time joining something like this from the company. Made me happy to have been able to join.

Tour destinations

The first place we went to was the farthest in our itinerary. The one in Lipa City is a residential project called South Parkgrove. It's the first one launched in Batangas by this prestigious developer. That's one reason why there are only 16 premium lots left out of 300+ since it launched late last year. Oh my. 😲

It only took us about an hour to get there. Why? Because we went early enough and there's a newly opened bypass road in that area which decongested the traffic. Awesome right?

Of course once we got there that's the only time I took pictures and videos. Hehe. Here's one of the pics I took.

Undeveloped open space where the residential lots would be subdivided soon. Malepunyo Mountain Range (a.k.a. Malarayat) can be seen in the distance.

There was also a little bit of info sharing from the coordinators and that's it. Off we went to a restaurant within that city to have lunch next! Awww... so much for my flexitarian diet. 🤭

I wasn't able to take any photos of the food because... well I just decided to eat like before there was any social media. 😂 My Lenten diet had to be disrupted and I even drank some soft drinks. Uh oh. 😆

The food was enough to make me really full. Made me sleep in the van again until our 2nd destination. Haha. I felt like I was living such an amazing life you know. 😂 A full stomach can really make you see how life is so good. 😁 Thank you Jesus. 🙏

The next site is called Verdea and is located in Cavite province. It tooks us about another hour to get there from Lipa City.

I wasn't really that much into it but since it is quite near Nuvali, it's fine. For sure there are people interested in Verdea too due to it's location.

Here's one of the photos I took of the site. It's also still in development as of now.

No mountain range here at all. Plenty of open spaces for future homes and amenities.

Our third and last destination was a condominium development in Alabang, but more accurately it was already in Las Piñas City. (Another urban location in the south of the metro.)

They didn't discuss it that much though so okay. We just stopped a while beside the road since it's still being constructed. Couldn't take pics because I was at the other side of the van.

After telling us about the property we then proceeded to go back to BGC. The good thing was, they dropped me off along the way to Makati City near the MRT. Haha. I guess I was the only one from the northern area.

Back in the Metro!

From the drop off point I climbed the overpass to get to the other side. I decided to ride the train to go home so that's where I went.

By the way, there's something new in that area. I saw that indeed the One Ayala (building in Makati) is almost fully finished. And that is where the new bus stop is. It has really improved a lot!!!

I have been seeing photos of it online where many people were complaining about the long lines. And I scoff at them because pre-pandemic, nobody even had the discipline to fall in line at public bus stations. 🙄

Anyway here's a collage of my video screenshots of the new bus station. Looks quite spacious and clean. Didn't take any photos apparently haha. Oh well, that's why first 2 are blurred.

One Ayala bus station in Makati City

And this is how it looks like now at the 2nd floor or where you can ride the MRT. It's also already quite spacious! The rest of the stores have been removed on one side of it that's why it is empty, at least for now. As you can see everything looks far away because of all the free space! 😍

At the last minute I changed my mind on my route to go home. Dropped by a mall to use the free WiFi first and discuss some business details.

My chat with a customer via Facebook Messenger.

I gave the price quote of an order to one of the customers who inquired about custom temporary tattoos. She was fully paid later on so I had to drop by the house of my supplier before going home.

I didn't take the train because I had to get the supplies for my side gig. And that meant I had to take the bus because its drop off station was nearer the jeepney route I would use.

So from the MRT station I had to walk to the other side and go down to the bus station going north. Whew. At least I wasn't half running anymore. Haha. It was still early, only a little past 4 pm.

This meant I had to wait for the supplier to go home by 6 pm. Good thing when he told me the time, I was still on the way by bus. Had enough time to get back to the town center, pay some bills and do a bit of grocery shopping. After that I waited at the nearest fast food resto.

Nope I didn't buy anything there because I already cheated a lot on my diet. 😂 Can't eat too much meat you know. One full chicken breast at lunch is enough meat for the day!

I edited the videos of the places we went to while waiting. Oh editing is so time consuming. Time is precious so I used it wisely. Hehe. Before I could finish the entire video I received a message that I could already get the supplies. Hurray!

And after that I went straight home! Ah my legs got so tired. It feels like it's aching but not really. What a weird feeling. 😆

That's it for my Tuesday travel! Reached the 5,000 steps Actifit minimum goal! Haha. Oh yeah. Had a very productive day. Hope you had one too!

XOXO,
