It was still drizzly rain this morning, so I decided to do my long weekend run today rather than wait until Sunday.
I did about 15.5km, which took me through the villages of Saltford, Burnett, Compton Dando, and Chewton Keynsham before arriving back home in Keynsham.
I haven't done this run for over a month, and I'd forgotten quite how hard the hills are. Luckily, it wasn't too warm, and I started my run nice, and slowly do I had enough energy to get around successfully.
At around lunchtime, the sun did make a brief appearance, which coincided with me walking into town to get some groceries for lunch and dinner and a few beers to enjoy while watching England play football.
While I was in town, I was a bit surprised by how many people were about. I now realise that this weekend is the Keynsham music festival in my local park. I must make sure I go and give the event my support tomorrow.
Thank you for reading, and I'll be back tomorrow.
