It seems like our hockey season is becoming ridiculous. Last week we had too many players and this week, not enough!
Today's game was away against Chippenham 4s who aren't having the best of seasons themselves. We were only able to muster 10 players which is incredibly disappointing after the last few week's availabilities.
After all that negativity above we then went and had one of the best games of our season. Despite the lack of players we managed a 1 - 1 draw and were unlucky not to win as we were very close to scoring on several more occasions.
In the evening we were meant to go to the local club which holds a comedy evening once a month. Unfortunately, my wife tested positive for covid during the day so we had to give it a miss. Hopefully, our friends managed to pass on our tickets to someone else.
I never get particularly high step counts on Saturdays as I don't carry my phone playing hockey. Today though was particularly bad as when I popped into town to get some groceries I managed to leave my phone at home! Just too many things to worry about today.
