I was quite late for my sunset walk today. And there was no sunset either. The weather has turned towards rain and the temperatures have gone down quite a bit.
During all the construction work going on around the train tracks in the previous weeks, my friend Ronald hasn't been around much. Can't blame him, with all the noise and brightly coloured steel dragons occupying his territory.
This morning he finally showed up again. Not looking his best, though. He has lots of white feathers. The internet says it might be due to malnutrition, which confuses me, with all the rain this year, there's plenty of fruits and critters all around. Have I been feeding him too many peanuts and he's been skipping his healthy natural diet?!?
He looks almost like he's half magpie now. The white feathers also appear quite symmetrical, but if it was genetic... he wouldn't have been all black until recently, right?!
If there's any corvid experts around, do let me know. I am mildly worried about my feathered friendo being unwell.
Thanks for your time!
