After last night's thunderstorm, the heat came back with full force today. The result was an unpleasant humidity and my firm commitment to an afternoon nap in a dark room, away from the sticky heat.
Catching up on some sleep that was hard to get with the roaring thunder outside waking me up several times. After the heavy rain had passed and the storm travelled off, I was able to capture some lightning in the distance. It's usually quite hard to get the actual lightning captured on a cellphone camera, but it was flashing so frequently that I actually got to flip the virtual shutter at just the right moment once.
