I headed out to take my sunset walk a bit earlier today. The horizon was already promising a stormy surprise and it was obvious that the actual sunset would happen behind some thick clouds.
And indeed, as I am writing this shortly before midnight, there's a heavy thunderstorm coming down outside, pouring rain and bright intense thunder and lightning in a 10 second interval.
The day itself was extremely warm and sunny. I actually cycled to the lake twice for a quick dip to cool off. Taking my usual walks wasn't really an option in this heat.
The keen observer will have noticed a minor change in the daily sunset title. One of the fields has been mowed and there's a bunch of nice hay bales now.
