Another day with plenty of steps. I think I'm averaging 20k easily these days. It's mostly a coping mechanism, though. The mindful moments are just a byproduct.
Like this lone flower growing from a crack in the concrete on my way to the groceries store. Little discoveries like this. Life always finds a way.
I also stumbled upon something else today. A day late, #fungifriday is already over, but I have to show you anyways:
These peculiar little things are called earthstars. A kind of fungus related to puffballs and quite unique due to their flower-like appearance. I wasn't immediately sure those were actually fungi, but they are.
Yesterday I was wondering why the snails crossed the road. Apparently they wanted to climb a blade of grass... on the other side of the trail. The grass is always greener on the other side, right?!
