En ese momento, cuando leí la palabra apocalipsis, sólo pude pensar en un tema, el libro del Apocalipsis en la Biblia. El pastor de nuestra iglesia había estado hablando de este último libro y me gustaría compartir con ustedes que llegará un momento en que los hombres de la tierra sufrirán gravemente, buscarán la muerte y no la encontrarán. Esto se dice en el noveno capítulo, versículo seis.

¿Cree usted en las profecías? ¿Crees que la Biblia dice la verdad? ¿Crees que el infierno visitará la tierra algún día?

Parece aterrador y escuchar esto puede alejarnos de enfrentar la verdad pero te digo que creo que todas estas cosas sucederán. Las profecías están sucediendo y nuestro Creador ya nos ha revelado lo que viene. Todo lo que tenemos que hacer es mirar en lo que Él había dejado para nosotros, Su Palabra.

En el libro de Apocalipsis, capítulo nueve versos uno hasta diez, Juan, el escritor del libro escribió que habrá un infierno en la tierra cuando una figura caída abre el pozo sin fondo, hay humo y gran horno y hay un oscurecimiento de la tierra. El sol no aparecerá en este día. Esta figura caída es también temible pero famosa, no es otra que Lucifer.

Las langostas y los escorpiones tienen el poder de atormentar a los que no tienen el sello de Dios en la frente. Estas criaturas tienen corazas de hierro y los aguijones de sus colas sirven para atormentar pero no para matar. Para entonces, cuando los atormentados no puedan soportar el dolor, buscarán la muerte, pero no la encontrarán. Desearán la muerte pero la muerte huirá de ellos.

Habrá ángeles caídos atados en el gran río el Éufrates y serán liberados. A estos ángeles se les dio la tarea de matar a un tercio de la humanidad.

Es horroroso y al imaginarlo en mi mente, no quiero pasar por ese dolor. Pero esto es real y sucederá. En los siguientes versos dice que cuando los hombres rechazan el amor y la misericordia de Dios, todo lo que les queda es su juicio y su ira. Esto es cuando el lugar de la misericordia se convierte en el lugar del mayor juicio.

La tribulación viene después de un tiempo cuando la iglesia que está bajo la edad de la gracia será raptada para reunirse con nuestro Salvador. Los que se queden atrás se enfrentarán a la tribulación y todavía se les da la oportunidad de arrepentirse de sus pecados y volverse a Jesús, creer en su vida, muerte y resurrección.

Right then and there, when I read the word apocalypse, I could only think of one topic, the book of Revelation in the Bible. Our church pastor had been talking about this last book and I'd like to share with you that there will come a time when men of the earth will suffer severely, they'd seek death and shall not find it. This is stated in the 9th chapter verse six.

Do you believe in prophecies? Do you think the Bible states the truth? Do you believe that hell will visit the earth one day?

It seemed terrifying and hearing this may turn us away from facing the truth but I tell you, I believe all these things will happen. Prophesies are happening and our Creator had already revealed to us what's coming. All we have to do is to look into what He had left for us, His Word.

In the book of Revelation, chapter nine verses one up to ten, John, the writer of the book wrote that there will be hell on earth when a fallen figure opens the bottomless pit, there are smoke and great furnace and there's a darkening of the earth. The sun will not show up on this day. This fallen figure is also a fearful one but famous, he is none other than Lucifer.

Locusts and scorpions are given the power to torment those who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads. These creatures have iron breastplates and their stings in their tails are used to torment but not to kill. By this time, when the tormented individuals can't bear the pain, they'd seek death yet, they won't find it. They shall desire death but death will flee from them.

There will be fallen angels bound at the great river the Euphrates and they will be released. These angels were given the task to kill a third of mankind.

It's horrifying and picturing it out in my mind, I don't want to go through that pain. But this is real and it will happen. In the next verses it states that when men reject the love and mercy of God, all they have left is his judgment and wrath. This is when the place of mercy becomes the place of greatest judgment.

The tribulation comes after a time when the church which is under the age of grace will be raptured to meet with our Savior. The ones left behind will face the tribulation and are still given the chance to repent of their sins and turn to Jesus, believe in His life, death, and resurrection.

In diesem Moment, als ich das Wort Apokalypse las, konnte ich nur an ein Thema denken, das Buch der Offenbarung in der Bibel. Unser Gemeindepastor hatte über dieses letzte Buch gesprochen und ich möchte Ihnen mitteilen, dass es eine Zeit geben wird, in der die Menschen auf der Erde schwer leiden werden, sie würden den Tod suchen und ihn nicht finden. Das steht im 9. Kapitel, Vers sechs.

Glauben Sie an Prophezeiungen? Glauben Sie, dass die Bibel die Wahrheit sagt? Glauben Sie, dass die Hölle eines Tages die Erde besuchen wird?

Es scheint erschreckend zu sein und dies zu hören, könnte uns davon abhalten, uns der Wahrheit zu stellen, aber ich sage Ihnen, ich glaube, dass all diese Dinge geschehen werden. Die Prophezeiungen geschehen und unser Schöpfer hat uns bereits offenbart, was kommen wird. Alles, was wir tun müssen, ist, in das hineinzuschauen, was Er für uns hinterlassen hat, Sein Wort.

Im Buch der Offenbarung, Kapitel neun Verse eins bis zehn, schrieb Johannes, der Schreiber des Buches, dass es eine Hölle auf Erden geben wird, wenn eine gefallene Gestalt den Abgrund öffnet, es gibt Rauch und einen großen Ofen und es gibt eine Verfinsterung der Erde. Die Sonne wird sich an diesem Tag nicht zeigen. Diese gefallene Gestalt ist ebenfalls furchterregend, aber berühmt, sie ist kein anderer als Luzifer.

Heuschrecken und Skorpione erhalten die Macht, diejenigen zu quälen, die das Siegel Gottes nicht an ihrer Stirn haben. Diese Kreaturen haben eiserne Brustpanzer und ihre Stacheln in ihren Schwänzen werden dazu benutzt, zu quälen, aber nicht zu töten. Es ist entsetzlich und wenn ich es mir vor meinem geistigen Auge ausmale, möchte ich diesen Schmerz nicht durchmachen. Aber das ist real und es wird geschehen. In den nächsten Versen heißt es, dass, wenn die Menschen die Liebe und Barmherzigkeit Gottes ablehnen, alles, was ihnen bleibt, sein Gericht und sein Zorn ist. Das ist der Zeitpunkt, an dem der Ort der Barmherzigkeit zum Ort des größten Gerichts wird.

Die Trübsal kommt nach einer Zeit, in der die Gemeinde, die sich im Zeitalter der Gnade befindet, entrückt wird, um sich mit unserem Erlöser zu treffen. Die Zurückgebliebenen werden die Trübsal erleben und haben immer noch die Chance, ihre Sünden zu bereuen und sich Jesus zuzuwenden, an sein Leben, seinen Tod und seine Auferstehung zu glauben.
