Within a nation there are two individuals, one male and the other female. Together they form a nation and both play an equal role in its development. For a time, women were kept busy only with household chores. They were subjected to extreme cruelty. Then the women decided to free themselves from the shackles of men. As a result, on March 8, 1907, women in the New York garment industry for the first time raised their voices against working for 10 hours and demanding an increase in wages. This war continued. Finally, Clara Zectin, a Russian activist, held a conference on women's rights on March 8, the day of the incident, and announced March 8 as International Women's Day.
