Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.

Have you experienced the loss of a loved one, a job, an opportunity, a spouse, a baby, or anything else significant? Excessive grief necessitates exceptional poise, lest the agony become intolerable. Why do some pregnant women give birth to a stillborn child while others do not? Until we reach heaven, will we be able to fully comprehend these mysterious matters?

When the heart becomes deeply wounded and feelings run wild, where is God then? God's ways are not always clear to us, but we can always rely on Christ's consolation. The Lord is not far from people who are suffering greatly. Your Heavenly Father completely understands what others cannot. Christ's consolation soothes like cool cough syrup running down an inflamed, swollen throat.

Moreover, Christ gives us consolation so that we might give others His reassuring comfort. In a way that is rooted in faith, productive pain helps other grieving people. In God's economy, giving serves as therapy, so those of us saved by grace don't hold back when it comes to applying it. Who among you could give a sympathetic ear, a quiet prayer, or a thoughtful visit?

One of the greatest pleasures in life is lost if we shove comfort behind the closet of our busy schedules. Disgrace to any follower of Jesus who is content to listen to the opinions of those who are in good spiritual health. Recognize that tears may be hiding beneath a sensitive heart in someone you have an impact on. Take a look around. Who is having problems at work, in relationships, or with their health? Soothe them, for the ripples of your impact are like a boulder cutting across a still pool of water.

"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"

Wishing you a lovely day
