The data of the Blurt Blockchain | Part 2

In my last post The unknown data of the Blurt blockchain, we saw some analytical data and graphics from the last three months from the Blurt blockchain, such as "Posts & Replies", "Authors & Curators Rewards", "Transfer from & to Exchanges", etc... From the number of replies and upvote, it seems that you liked it and I thank you for the welcome you gave to this post.

I have been working on it again this week to also have "beneficiaries" among other things and to be able to make more advanced queries and therefore a better control of the data produced. This allowed me to correct an error in the formula for adding VESTS and BLURT to the author's rewards (@rycharde, you were right, due to a bad implementation with the asynchronous function, the BLURT part was sometimes not taken into account).

So I propose through this post to continue our exploration of the Blurt blockchain data :)

Data from the last 3 months

We are still on the same 3 months comparison (December, November and October) but this time with the full month of December.

I'm not going to put back the graphs from last time so if you want to see them you have to go to the previous post.

Posts

This time I want to focus on the number of unique authors for each month, a metric I find interesting and important.

Beneficiaries Rewards

Below is a graph of the beneficiaries for which I expected much higher amounts

Making this graph below allowed me to learn about the existence of the service @post24 that I did not know and which is in first place, dTube with its 10% fee has won the second place since November instead of BlurtTribe.

Authors Rewards

Now it's time to look at the Authors rewards (corrected version) which is much more consistent with the Curators Rewards graph

Let's take the opportunity to go a little deeper with a Top 5 of the authors having received the most rewards in December:

1 - 26,384.64 BLURT : @offgridlife with 386 posts & replies
2 - 20,547.693 BLURT : @hangin with 121 posts & replies
3 - 17,790.228 BLURT : @yakubenko with 86 posts & replies
4 - 17,094.499 BLURT : @andrianna with 79 posts & replies
5 - 16,322.206 BLURT : @drutter with 242 posts & replies

It turns out that authors who earn more than a top 20 witnesses is something that can be found 🤣

I also wanted to make a top 5 for December by number of upvotes thinking that on Blurt the results were not biased like on Steem and Hive by curation trails but I think I was wrong, I let you tell me what you think:

1 - 3,416 upvotes for @luluwinda
2 - 3,384 upvotes for @puspasari75
3 - 3,129 upvotes for @dewiasih
4 - 2,357 upvotes for @ellymin
5 - 2,321 upvotes for @benwb56

Note that @offgridlife (number one of the previous top 5) is at the 10th place with 2,140 upvotes

And if now we make the top 5 authors who received the most comments for December:

1 - 688 comments received for @blurttribe
2 - 683 comments received for @kryptodenno
3 - 355 comments received for @blurt-lotto
4 - 349 comments received for @drutter
5 - 291 comments received for @outofthematrix

We find once again @offgridlife this time at the 8th place with 140 comments received and a nice 6th place for @world-travel-pro with 218 comments received

Witnesses (Blocks producers)

How about the number of unique voters for witnesses, one piece of data I forgot to mention in my last post. The least we can say is that it is not very glorious my dear Blurtians, just like in real life, it seems that voting is not really your thing 🤣

For the Blurt blockchain, which relies on the DPOS model, voting is extremely important for its decentralization. The more voters there are, the more diversity there will be.

Don't hesitate to go and have a look at the list of witnesses here https://beblurt.com/witnesses or there https://blurtwallet.com/~witnesses to do a good deed

Final words

If there are any data that I did not mention in one of my two posts and that you would be interested in knowing, do not hesitate to ask in the comments. If I can provide them to you from the data I have, I will do so.

And for those who have questions, seen mistakes I would have made, additional information to share the comments are there for that ;)

Have fun on Blurt & BeBlurt
